San Diego, CA (Sports Network) - The San Diego Padres announced Monday that pitcher Chris Young underwent successful surgery on his right shoulder. The procedure to remove fraying of Young's labrum was performed at Scripps Clinic in Carmel Valley. The troublesome shoulder landed Young on the disabled list on June 19.
